  • milestone changed from xmlroff 0.5.0 to Future.

Will not do for 0.5.0 since it is too much, too soon: the Cairo backend was not even required previously.

Appropriate for 0.6.0 though?

Replying to asmodai:

Appropriate for 0.6.0 though?

That depends on the timeline for 0.6.0.

lleroy has done good work with sorting out Cairo graphics positioning, but I don't know why Pango/Cairo changes the number of lines in a layout (#112). It could be something simple, it could be operator error on my part, it could be fixed in a later Cairo, or it could be something fundamentally wrong with Cairo PDF surfaces.

Upping the version to 0.6.0 happened because of the change of license terms. 0.6.0 will happen soonish because the revised license makes it possible for xmlroff to be included in Debian and Fedora.
